The newer model has horrible static interference and has fewer features. I just received this phone system as a replacement for my AT&T inside equipment plan. I am sending it back and hopefully will be able to get another 9465 if available. It is not what I expected. Last year I received the TRU9465 and it is excellent. The 9465 is of excellent quality, no interference and fantastic speaker phone and features. Do not get this phone if you have wireless devices in your home.
I like the phone. The blue lighting is cute. But, I have a cheaper Uniden phone set that has more features.
